Why people drive across Perth to get here

40+ years combined

Two technicians with decades of European and JDM experience, and a military background in doing things by the book.

Evidence, not guesswork

Dealer-level scan tools and photographs of the actual fault, so you can see why a part needs replacing.

Factory procedures

We follow genuine manufacturer workshop manuals, so the car is fixed properly the first time.

Your call on price

We don't start a job until you've seen the quote and agreed to it. No surprises on the invoice.

Warranty backed

Genuine, OEM or trusted aftermarket — whichever you choose, the parts and our workmanship are covered.

Four languages

English, Korean, Portuguese and Tamil are all spoken in the workshop.

How we work

You'll see the part that failed.

A bill on its own doesn't tell you what actually went wrong or how we fixed it, and we think you deserve to see that. So we photograph every fault we find during the job and explain it in plain language. Ahmed came to us with a CVT transmission issue several other workshops couldn't pin down. After a thorough inspection, we found a faulty stepper motor, photographed it, and walked him through what it does. He didn't need the full transmission replacement he'd been quoted elsewhere — an accurate diagnosis was all it took to fix the actual problem.

He showed me the stepper motor that was replaced and explained why it stopped working, as well as how it functions. I am so glad I didn't have to replace the entire transmission as I was told by other shops.

The process

Five steps, and you're in control of every one

We treat every vehicle as a problem to be understood — not an opportunity to sell parts.

  1. Problem

You tell us what the car is doing. We listen properly, and we ask the questions that narrow it down.

  2. Diagnosis

Dealer-level scanning across every module, plus hands-on testing. Fixed hourly rate — most faults are found within the hour.

  3. Evidence

We show you what we found. Photos, live data, the component itself. You decide with the facts in front of you.

  4. Repair

Genuine manufacturer procedures, and your choice of genuine, OEM or trusted aftermarket parts.

  5. Warranty

Parts and workmanship are covered. We're happy to check the car again a month later.

Second opinions

An honest diagnosis can save you thousands.

A customer came to us with a $5,000 quote for a full transmission replacement. When we diagnosed it properly, the real problem turned out to be a sensor, not the transmission. A $500 genuine sensor later, the problem was gone. Wherever possible, we'd rather repair the engine or transmission than replace it — swapping out a part that didn't need replacing only adds to your bill.

What we'll tell you upfront

  • We're a two-technician workshop, so we can only take a limited number of cars each day. Booking ahead genuinely matters.

  • We're not the cheapest in Perth. We put real time and care into every job, and for the depth we go to we think we're good value — but you should hear that from us, not discover it later.

  • Occasionally a job needs a specialist, like internal ECU resoldering. We'll always ask you before your car goes anywhere else.

What customers actually said

  • I was having trouble finding a good car mechanic shop near me that can deal with CVT transmission issues. Josh took my car in on very short notice and explained everything to me in detail. I don't know much about car terminology but he made it simple and even showed me pictures of the issues my car had.

  • The team conducted a thorough inspection of my vehicle and explained every detail clearly, even providing photos to help me understand the findings. Having had inspections done at several places before, I can confidently say this was the most comprehensive and professional experience I've had.

Questions

The things people ask us most

See all questions
Do you work on European cars?

Yes — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche are core work for us. We've invested in the manufacturer-specific tooling European vehicles need, and we follow genuine workshop procedures rather than improvising.

How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics is charged at a fixed hourly rate. Most faults are identified within about an hour, though some take longer depending on the component and where it sits in the car. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.

Will you replace parts without asking me?

No. We don't start any job until you've seen what we found and agreed to the price. That's a hard rule, not a guideline.

Do I have to use genuine parts?

No. We'll lay out the options — genuine, OEM, or aftermarket from suppliers we trust — and explain the real difference between them. Whichever you choose, our workmanship is warranted.

Can you give a second opinion on a big quote?

Absolutely, and it's a lot of what we do. Bring us the quote. If the repair is viable we'll tell you, and if the original quote was fair we'll tell you that too.

Do you speak languages other than English?

Yes — Korean, Portuguese and Tamil are all spoken in the workshop. If it's easier to explain the problem in your own language, please do.

Ready when you are.

Tell us what the car's doing. We'll book you in, diagnose it properly, and show you exactly what we find before any work starts.

We never start a job without your approval on price.
